Hopkins Elementary School earned its Purple Star designation from the Virginia Department of Education as a military-friendly school during the 2020-2021 school year. Our community recognizes and values the service of our military families.  Bobcat families include those serving in every branch of the military, as well as employees of the National Department of Defense.  Military children move on average six to nine times between kindergarten and high school graduation. Our Bobcat military families have lived in 22 U.S. States and several foreign countries!
