The school counselor has many roles, including advisor to the National Elementary Honor Society. The purpose of this organization is to recognize students for their outstanding academic achievement and personal responsibility, to provide services to the school and community, and to develop leadership skills. Students plan and participate in a community service project to benefit a charitable organization.
